Eynsham triathlon

I did the Eynsham triathlon today.   This is organised by Eynsham Road Runners but is held in Woodstock.  It's a 200m swim in Woodstock pool, 18km bike and 5km run cross-country, and is a fantastic first triathlon if you're that way inclined. In fact it was my first triathlon 1 year ago (ahhh, how much I've done sine those heady days of youth).
I managed to improve on last year's time, which is great.  Last year I completed it in 1 hour 10 ish, and this year was 1 hour 7 ish.  I managed to knock a few seconds of run and swim, and probably 2 minutes off transition (tip: transition is the place to make up time!)

Looking forward to Newbury now, in a couple of weeks (assuming I am actually signed up).  This is a longer swim (but only 300m) and bike ride (22km), and is another one I did 12 months ago, so will be a test for my training over the last year.

Bit knackered now, but at least I can drink some wine!
